Confessions of a Run-a-Holic

My Story:

I am a Run-A-Holic.  During my days of serious addiction, I would run for hours a day on the trails ignoring the increasing pain.  On rainy days, I’d step on the treadmill, crank it up and run until I could run no more.  I would try to weave in “going for a run” with friends who were clearly uninterested.

You just finished taking an hour-long evening aerobics class on the way home from work.  In the middle of praising yourself for not only burning some calories but missing rush-hour traffic, you realize you have to start thinking about dinner.  Your arms are so weak from all those bicep curls that the thought of chopping and mixing those leafy greens and chicken breast leaves a bad taste in your mouth.  You just want something quick and easy so you resort to searching the pantry for some late night cereal.
